Flood alerts no longer in place

ALL flood alerts for the Reading area have been lifted.

The Environment Agency removed its flood alert for a stretch of the Lower River Loddon at the River Thames confluence including Twyford, Charvil and Wargrave, as well as Swallowfield, Arborfield, Shinfield, Barkham, Lower Earley, Sindlesham, Winnersh, Woodley, Hurst and Waltham-St-Lawrence.

An alert has also been lifted for the River Pang from East Ilsley to Pangbourne, including Compton, Hampstead Norreys, Frilsham, Bucklebury, Stanford Dingley, Bradfield and Tidmarsh; and the Sulham Brook from Theale to Pangbourne including Sulham.
